Chucky fans are still surprised and upset that the series was canceled by USA and Syfy after three seasons, and quickly launched the #SaveChucky campaign in an effort to save the series and ensure it gets picked up by another network or service streaming.
That campaign is still going strong, and creator Don Mancini continues to put fans’ minds at ease. The moment the series was canceled, he made it clear that Chucky would return, and now he’s keeping that promise.
Mancini recently shared the following comment on X: “The CHUCKY franchise has prioritized story continuity, across multiple media, for decades. You will see your favorites again.
A horror franchise like this will never die. It’s one of those properties that will always find life because there’s a huge fan base that enjoys these crazy characters.
Several months ago Mancini said, “I’m actually in the early stages of working on a new Chucky movie as well.” So we know at least one more movie is coming.
We have no idea what’s in store next, but fans are eager and excited to find out.
