Hilarious trailer for Hulu’s quirky action comedy series INTERIOR CHINATOWN starring Jimmy O. Yang

A fun trailer for Hulu’s action comedy series Inner Chinatown was released, starring Jimmy O. Yang like Willis, Ronny Chieng, Chloe Bennett, Lisa Gilroy, Sullivan Jones, Archie KaoAND Diana Lin.

The series is created and written by Carlo Yubased on Yu’s book of the same name, written by Eva Anderson, Naiem Bouier, Greg Cabrera, Keiko Green, Matthew Okumura, Lauren Otero, Alex Russell, Saba SaghafiAND Tiffany So.

The episodes of the show are directed by Stephanie Laing, John Lee, Pete Chatmon, Jaffar Mahmood, Ben Sinclair, Anu Valia, Alice Wu, AND Taika Waititi.

The synopsis reads: “Based on the award-winning book of the same name by Charles Yu, the show follows the story of Willis Wu, a background character trapped in a police procedural called “Black & White.”

“Relegated to the background, Willis goes about his work on screen, waiting tables, dreaming of a world beyond Chinatown and aspiring to be the protagonist of his own story.

“When Willis inadvertently witnesses a crime, he begins to unravel a criminal network within Chinatown, uncovering his family’s buried history and what it’s like to be in the spotlight.”

This looks like it’s going to be a great original series! The story feels fresh and exciting and has a great comedic tone. I can’t wait to watch it.
