Apple TV+ has released a new teaser trailer for the second season of the workplace thriller Separationand presents Adam ScottMark Scout is panicking as he runs around the office.
The teaser also features shots of its original colleagues throughout the trailer, including Zach CherryIt’s Dylan George, Britt LowerIt’s Helen Riggs, and Giovanni TurturroHe is Irving Bailiff.
When Mark returns to Lumon’s office, he meets three new people sitting at Dylan, Helen, and Irving’s cubicles. They are played by those new mysterious employees of Lumon Alia Shawkat (Arrested development), Bob Balaban (Soft top, Seinfeld) and newcomer Stefano Carannante.
It’s been more than two years since the first season left off on that cliffhanger, but it’s exciting that it returns and that we finally get to see the next chapter of this story.
At the end of the first season, employees Mark, Helly, Dylan and Irving have managed to escape their consciousness from the confines of their office and have begun to reconstruct who they are in the real world.
Adam Scott stars in the series as Mark Scout, who holds an office job at a mysterious biotech company known as Lumon. The controversial company performs procedures in which employees’ psyches are bifurcated to separate work memories from personal ones, creating Innies (employee characters in the workplace) and Outties (themselves outside the office).
Patricia Arquette He plays the manager of the fired employees, as well as Mark’s neighbor. As the show progresses, Mark makes curious discoveries that call into question the company’s intentions.
The Season 2 plot reads: “Mark (Scott) and his friends learn the dire consequences of messing with the separation barrier, leading them further down a path of grief.”
Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes and will premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 17.
