Adult Swim announced this week at New York Comic-Con that they are wrapping up two more seasons of their #1 series, Rick and Morty. With renewals, fans can expect new episodes through 2029.
The adult animated series, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, follows a genius sociopathic scientist who drags his inherently shy nephew on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
Features the voice cast of Ian Cardoni like Rick e Harry Belden as Morty, starting in the seventh season after Roiland’s exit, as well as Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke and Harmon, to name a few.
Rick and Morty it was comedy no. 1 on all cable TV during seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6, according to Adult Swim, and received two Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Animated Program.”
“No one wants a universe without it Rick and Morty,“Harmon said in a statement. “Fortunately, the list of places to go remains endless.”
Marder added: “I couldn’t be more proud to have received this passing of the torch of my life Rick and MortyIt’s season four and will take us to season 10. Going beyond that now is a gift I can’t wait to give to our fans. Rick and Morty – one hundred years – forever!”
