Shudder has released the trailer for The Creep Tapesa new series based on the Found Footage horror film series. The series comes from Marco Duplass who acted Creeping AND Frizz 2.
Duplass is a writer and producer of The Creep Tapes together with Patrick Bricewho will also direct the episodes. Duplass will reprise his starring role in the six-episode series.
The franchise centers on the character of Duplass, a monster whose name continually changes but whose bizarre and murderous behavior is always documented in found footage style.
The short plot reads: “Unravel the twisted mind of a serial killer as he lures victims to film his life, only to reveal his deadly intentions.”
Duplass said in a statement: “A little over 10 years ago, Patrick Brice and I spent a week together in my cabin with a small digital camera.
“We ended up with a found horror film that was so bizarrely strange and uncomfortable that we thought no one would see it. Continuing this unholy legacy in the series format is a true nightmare come true.”

The Creep Tapes will premiere Friday, November 15 on Shudder and AMC+.
