I have some exciting news for you all Reacher fans! Prime Video has already renewed the series for a fourth season! Season 3 won’t premiere until next year, but they’re not waiting for it to be released before they start developing season 4.
Prime Video obviously has full faith in Reacher’s success and its future. Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement:
“Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for another season.
“We can’t wait to see even more action and adventure from the talented team behind the series, including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance and CBS Studios.”
Reacher season 3 is based on Lee Child novel PersuaderReacher (Alan Ritchson) must go undercover to rescue an informant held captive by a disturbing enemy from his past.
In the story: “Jack Reacher lives for the moment. Homeless. Without obligation. And with a burning desire to right wrongs and rewrite one’s agonizing past.
“DEA Susan Duffy lives for the future, knowing she made a terrible mistake by placing one of her agents in a death trap inside a heavily guarded Maine mansion.
“Putting a brilliant ruse, Reacher hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise. Trying to save an agent whose time is running out, Reacher enters a crime lord’s waterfront fortress.
“There he will find a world of secrecy and violence and deal with some unfinished business from his past.”
Reacher The third season is filming in Toronto. The show is written for television by Nick Santora, Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and Paramount Television Studios.
The third season is also in the cast Maria Sten, Antonio Michele Sala, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Roberto Montesinos, Daniel David StewartAND Olivier Richter.
