They reported this recently Evan Peters AND Ryan Murphy are developing a new series together for FX titled Beauty. Ashton Kutcher, Antonio RamosAND Jeremy Pope they will also be the protagonists of the show,
The series is based on the Image Comics series of the same name created by Jeremy Haun AND Jason A. Hurley.
The story description reads: “Modern society is obsessed with external beauty. What if there was a way to guarantee that you become more and more beautiful every day? What if it was a sexually transmitted disease?
“In the world of ‘The Beauty,’ physical perfection is attainable. The vast majority of the population has taken advantage of it, but detectives Foster and Vaughn will soon discover that the price to pay is terrible.
Murphy recently offered more details about the series, saying it will be a Game of Thrones-scale story inspired by Oxympian culture.
He told Variety: “It’s something I’ve never done before, which is a sci-fi medical show about a new virus that mutates and is sexually transmitted, that turns you into your absolutely perfect self. And the question is: how far would you go to be beautiful? What would you sacrifice for this, and does it matter?
“That show I was watching, I call Ozempic culture. One little try and suddenly you will look better and feel better, and all your problems will disappear. But what are you really working on? What happens to you that makes you feel the need to do this? Sometimes it’s health, sometimes it’s vanity.”
He continued, “It’s very different. We film in Europe: Venice, Rome and Paris. It’s a very big budget, kind of ‘Game of Thrones’ in its scale.”
It looks like it’s going to be an intriguing series.
