Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, snow driller) has joined the cast of The boys Season 5, but we have no idea who she’ll be playing. Those details will have to remain a mystery for now.
The announcement was made on The boys on social media and was accompanied by the caption: “That’s all for now.”
It will be interesting to see who she ends up playing in the series. In the meantime, are there any characters you think she’ll play?
The fifth season will be the final season of the series and, in this regard, the creator and showrunner, Eric Kripke teased:
“You know, I think the season four finale really shows that we’ve been planning for five years, because there’s no way a show can go on for another season after the events of that finale. As far as we’re concerned, it’s our show’s version of an apocalypse.”
The series is described as follows: “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscular thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.
“Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as leader of The Boys. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
