Apple Studios has acquired the rights to develop a film titled Off Season, and Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible, Napoleon) will star and produce the film.
There are no plot details, but the film is described as a femme fatale thriller set at a luxury resort on Mexico’s Riviera Maya. It’s not hard to imagine Kirby playing the lead in a femme fatale film.
Apple has taken the specifications from Holland, Michigan‘S Andrea Sodroskiand the script was developed by 42 Films with Peter Deabert AND Ben Pugh production. No director has yet been assigned to the project.
Kirby to soon star in Ron Howard’s thriller Edenwhich looks like an interesting film. She is currently busy producing Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Stepsin which she plays Sue Storm, known as the Invisible Woman.
Kirby also stars alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh in the Netflix drama The night always comes.
