Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for Squid Game Season 2, and it gives you a little taste of the madness that awaits you. I’ve also included a lovely poster for you to check out.
Hwang Dong Hyuk returned to write, direct and executive produce the second season. When previously speaking about what he envisioned for the second season, he said, “I have a very high-level image in my mind.”
He also said, “And now, Gi-hun is back. Front Man is back. Season 2 is coming. The man in the suit with ddakji might be back. You’ll also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su. Join us once again for a whole new round.”
In Season 1, “a mysterious invitation to play the game is sent to at-risk people who are in desperate need of money. 456 participants from all walks of life are locked in a secret location where they play to win 45.6 billion won. Each game is a traditional Korean children’s game, such as Red Light and Green Light, but the consequence of losing is death. Who will be the winner and what is the purpose of this game?”
Returning to the series I am Lee Jung Jae, Mr. Lee Byung-Hun, Wi Ha-junAND Gong Yooas well as newcomers to the franchise Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Sung-Hoon ParkAND Yang Dong Geun.
New additions to the cast include Young Park Gyu (Sweet home), Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim (Move to Heaven), David Leva (The Fortress and Svaha: The Sixth Finger), Lee Jin-United Kingdom (Miss Grandma and the Sweet Home), Choi Seung-hyun (Cup: The Hidden Card and the Commitment), Roh Jae-won (Yoon and Ditto are missing), AND Won Ji-an (DP).
