Netflix has released a sneak peek teaser for the upcoming series Chipped cell anime series they are developing with Ubisoft. Liev Schreiber is set to star in the series and Sam Fisher.
Splinter Cell is an animated television series based on the award-winning spy video game series. It stars Sam Fisher, a black ops agent working for the U.S. government division “The Fourth Echelon.”
John Wick AND Falcon and the Winter Soldier writer Dr. Derek Kolstad is the writer and executive producer of the series.
The franchise launched in 2002 and follows former US Navy SEAL Sam Fisher after he is recruited by the NSA to work for the agency’s shadowy Third Echelon division. The game sees Fisher embark on a series of covert missions, employing stealth and military tactics.
The original game spawned six sequels and a series of novels. There’s even a movie that’s been in development for years with My Friend Tom Hardy attached to the star.
The series has received an order for two seasons and 16 episodes. The series is directed by Guillaume Dousse AND Felicien Colmet-Daage with the production of the animation studios Sun Creature and Fost.
