Barbarian Director Zach Cregger He is said to be in talks to direct the new film adaptation of Trace for Sony’s TriStar Pictures label.
It has also been reported thatt Shay Hat (Rebel Moon, John Wick: Chapter 3 AND John Wick: Chapter 4) will write the screenplay.
In the past there have been other directors and actors involved in this project, including Gore Verbinski (The ring), who worked on it several years ago. The latest version was developed by My Friend Jason Bateman (Ozarks) with My name is Ryan Reynolds. set to star.
If Cregger does end up directing the film, he would be an interesting choice. He seems like a hardcore horror guy, but he also knows how to make it funny.
