A new trailer has been released for the indie comedy All happy familiesstarring Josh Radnor (how I Met Your Mother), Rob Huebel, My life is beautiful, John Ashton, My life is beautiful, Colleen’s Camp, Anthony McKay, Davide Pasquetti, Ivy O’BrienAND Lena DrakeThe film is directed by Rose Harula (Once upon a time there was a river) from their co-written screenplay with Coburn Goss.
The film’s synopsis reads: “The Landrys reunite for the weekend to fix up their family home in Chicago. Graham (Josh Radnor) wishes his life were in a better place, especially since he reconnected with his college crush.
“Sue (Becky Ann Baker) is eager to begin her next chapter when an incident at her retirement party forces her to question a few things, including her marriage to the self-satisfied Roy (John Ashton).
“Then, TV star Will (Rob Huebel) arrives. What starts out as a quiet family get-together spirals out of control when shocking news threatens to tear everything apart.
It looks like a nice film about family dysfunction and the weirdness you just have to laugh about within your family structures. Watch the trailer below and watch All happy families when it opens in select U.S. theaters on September 20 or on VOD on October 18.
