Trailer for the 4K restored version of THE EXORCIST III

The Exorcist III it’s a great horror movie in The Exorcist franchise. This movie does some crazy stuff, and I think it’s one of those horror movies that gets overlooked by a lot of horror fans.

The Exorcist III has been restored in 4K and, thanks to Arrow Video, will be released in 4K Ultra HD in the UK on October 7.

The personal vision of William Peter Blatty (the acclaimed author of The Exorcist), The Exorcist III is set 15 years after the events of the first film and sees Lieutenant Kinderman (George C. Scott, The Shapeshifter) investigate a series of gruesome murders that follow the modus operandi of the infamous Gemini Killer… who died several years earlier in the electric chair.

After his friend Father Dyer (And Flanders) is murdered in his hospital bed, Kinderman’s investigation leads him to “Patient X,” a hospitalized psychopath who claims to be the Gemini Killer and who knows intimate details of the crime scene. Their meeting leads to a climactic confrontation between the eternal forces of good and evil…

Blatty’s film is presented here in both its original theatrical release and Legion’s director’s cut. If you’ve never seen the film, you absolutely must see it, and what better time than during the Halloween season!
