Here is the trailer for the upcoming slasher horror film titled Tropewhich is a BET+ Original Film. The film is a throwback to the classic slasher films we grew up with, but with a meta element.
In the film: “Tracey’s dying wish for a peaceful retreat with her best friends and their daughters turns into a bloody fight for survival.
“As the secrets of their past experiments are revealed and a relentless force stalks their every move, the real challenge isn’t just survival… it’s what lies ahead. Can they make it out alive?”
Trope is directed by B.Harrison Smith (House of Death), which says: “[The project] It was born from an original screenplay I wrote and adapted for BET, where I wanted elements of 1981’s Ghost Story sprinkled throughout.”
The movie stars Claudia Jordan, Author: Caryn Ward Ross, Leslie Segar, Jazz musicianAND Harmony Asia .
Trope will debut on BET+ on September 12, 2024.
