Max has released the first trailer of the producer M. Night Shyamalanthe next mystery thriller of Caddo Lakewhich has as protagonists Dylan O’Brien (Love and Monsters). It looks like it’s going to be a pretty intense and dark movie. This first teaser has piqued my interest.
In the story, “When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously disappears, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to connect, forever changing the story of a shattered family.”
The inspiration for the film came after the directors, Celine held AND Logan GeorgeHe came across a photograph of the real Caddo Lake online, which prompted him to visit the cypress forest that borders Texas and Louisiana several times.
The film was shot in and around Karnak, Texas, and also features Eliza Scanlen, Diana Hopper, Caroline FalkAND My Friend Sam Henningswith Eric LangeAND Lauren Ambrose.
The film is scheduled for release on October 10.
