Full Trailer for the New Season of Ryan Murphy’s Netflix Anthology Series MONSTERS: THE LYLE AND ERIK MENENDEZ STORY

Netflix has released the full trailer for the upcoming season of 1960-1969, Ryan Murphy, 1969-1970, 1969-1971, 1969-1972, 1969-1973, 1969-1974, 1969-1975, 1969-1976, 1969-1977, 1969-1979 , 1 AND Ian Brennan’S Monster anthology series, titled Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez.

This season follows the chilling story of Lila AND Erik Menendeztwo brothers who fatally shot their parents in their Beverly Hills home in 1989. At trial, the brothers cited years of abuse as the motive for their parents’ murder. However, prosecutors argued that their motive was to get their hands on the family fortune.

Javier Bardem AND Chloe Sevigny play their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, with the new arrivals Nicholas Alexander Chavez AND Cooper Koch depicting brothers Lyle and Erik. Nathan’s Lane plays the journalist who closely followed the story, Dominic Dunne.

The synopsis reads: “Following the huge success of Dahmer, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true crime anthology series returns with Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendezwhich tells the story of the real-life brothers convicted in 1996 for the murder of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez.

“While the prosecution argued that they were seeking to inherit the family fortune, the brothers maintained — and remain adamant to this day, as they serve life sentences without the possibility of parole — that their actions stemmed from fear of a lifetime of physical, emotional and sexual abuse from their parents.

“Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez dives into the historic case that took the world by storm, pioneered today’s public fascination with true crime, and, in return, asks those audiences: Who are the real monsters?”
