If there is any truth to this new report, Marvel’s Disney+ series Vision could introduce a new Avengers team, the West Coast Avengers.
The report comes from reliable insider Daniel Richtman (Daniel RPK), and in case you didn’t know, the West Coast Avengers are a completely different team of Avengers than the ones we’ve seen in the Marvel movies.
Richtman said: “I’ve heard this show will have elements of the ‘West [Coast] The Avengers series may also feature members of that team.”
In the comics, the original members of the West Coast Avengers include Hawkeye, Mockingbird, War Machine, Wonder Man, and Tigra. Vision is not an original member of the team, but later joins them and becomes an important part of the group over the years.
It’s not hard to imagine how the West Coast Avengers could fit into the story, but we’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out and if they actually show up.
But if that were to happen, it would mean we could see Jeremy Renner return as Clinton Barton/Hawkeye and Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine.
Then there is Adrianne Palicki who played a version of Mockingbird on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. But Clint’s wife, Laura Barton (Linda Cardellini) is SHIELD Agent 19, which in the comics is one of Mockingbird’s aliases.
Additionally, Wonder Man, played by SHIELD Agent 19, is set to make his debut in the upcoming miniseries of the same name.
The series does not yet have an official title, but it has been called Vision Quest. It will explore the White Vision’s search for a new purpose in life.
The series is developed by Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalaswho will act as showrunner of the project.
The stars of the series Paul Bettany AND James SwordAND Elizabeth Olsen It might appear there too.
