Video from the Marvel set has surfaced Fantastic Four: First Steps and offers a first look at Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, with either him or his stunt double wearing a full, practical costume for the character!
It’s so cool and the suit is really cool! In the video, you can see the Thing mask being put on the actor, who is also wearing a huge rock suit and a Fantastic Four uniform.
The Fantastic Four It’s set in the 1960s in an alternate version of New York City. We saw some test footage at Comic-Con last month and I was blown away. The movie just started shooting and they had nothing else to share at D23.
The film also stars Peter Pascal (The Last of Us) like Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Discovery of Death) like Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, and Joseph Quinn like Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch.
Paul Walter Houser he was also recently cast in the project in an unknown role, Natasha Lyon, AND Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) will play the role of Shalla-Bal, the incarnation of the Silver Surfer. Ralph Ineson will play Galactus.
The film is directed by Matt Shakman from a screenplay by Josh Friedmanwho was called to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan AND Ian Springer.
The Fantastic Four will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
