Bruce Campbell is currently working on a new project, a satanic panic series titled Hysteria! But when he’s done with that, he wants to take Burn warning again for a rebirth.
Campbell wants to make a Burn warning film in which he would reprise his role as Sam Axe. Burn warning It was created by Mattia Nix and it was a great series that ran for seven seasons on USA Network. There was also a TV movie made in 2011. The series ended in 2013, with the finale having the highest ratings of the series.
The series centered on Michael Westen, a former spy who had been “burned,” essentially designated persona non grata, by the CIA. It followed his attempts to get to the bottom of who burned him and why, while everyone he had ever angered now had a clear path to try to kill him.
Campbell told ComicBook in an interview: “I want to bring back Burn Notice. It’s time. There are a lot of criminals in the world, international criminals who are scum all over the world and who still need to be dealt with.
“None of our cast is dead, not in real life or in their characters. So make a two-hour movie. I’m trying to lobby for that. They did it with Monk, he came back with a little two-hour movie.
“People want a little taste. Get ready for a taste of Burn Notice.”
Fans would love to see Burn Notice return for a movie! The series was full of fun and interesting characters and it would be great to see them return for another story.
