Last week it was reported that James Sword will reprise his role as Ultron in the next Marvel film WandaVision spin-off series centered on Vision.
It was quite surprising and great news to hear. Deadline has since reported that Elizabeth OlsenWanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, will probably also appear in the series.
This wouldn’t be surprising at all, as many fans expected to see Scarlet Witch in this series, given the strong relationship she has with Vision.
It makes sense that the two would reunite at some point in the story and that she would have a key role in the series when she appears.
It has been explained that the core of the series will focus on by Paul Bettany Vision trying to regain his memory and humanity. It feels like something Wanda would need to be a part of for this story to be truly complete.
Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard) is developing the series and is serving as showrunner for the untitled series, which is expected to begin production in 2025.
