Fast food chain Chick-fil-A is looking to launch a streaming platform. The chicken restaurant chain has been working with production companies and Hollywood studios to create original, mostly unscripted family shows. It is also in talks to license and acquire content, according to a source who has pitched the project.
A program is a game show by Glassman Media (NBC) The Wall) and Sugar23 (Netflix 13 Reasons Why), for which a 10-episode series has been ordered.
Unscripted budgets are around $400,000 per half-hour, according to sources. Chick-Fil-A is also considering scripted and animated projects. Best gear AND The X Factor former student Brian Gibson is at the forefront of programming.
While Chick-fil-A is known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, the company is looking to enter the reality TV industry, which has seen a decline in recent years.
He previously produced a series of animated shorts for his website, “Stories of Evergreen Hills,” and launched Pennycake, his own brand of children’s games and puzzles.
It looks like Kirk and Candace Cameron fans have some really interesting content in store.
