The Last of Us takes place 20 years after modern civilization was destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel (Peter Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie (Beautiful Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, from an oppressive quarantine zone to Fireflies, an organization searching for a cure. Dever and Merced are joined by Young Mazino like Jesse, Danny Ramirez like Manny, Ariela Barer like Mel, and Tati Gabrielle like Nora.

When season two was announced, Druckmann said, “I’m honored, humbled and frankly overwhelmed that so many people have tuned in and enjoyed our retelling of Joel and Ellie’s journey.
