Timothy Oliphant (Justified, The Santa Clarita Diet) has joined the cast of Owen Wilsonuntitled golf comedy series on Apple TV+. The show was originally picked up for 10 episodes at Apple in March. Wilson will star alongside other cast members Peter Dager, Mark Marone, Mariana Trevino, Lilli KayAND My life is beautifulOlyphant will appear as a guest star.
According to the official synopsis, the series follows Pryce Cahill (Wilson), “a former professional golfer in decline whose career was cut short 20 years ago.
After being fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife abandoning him, Pryce sets his sights on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom (Drager).”
Olyphant will play Clark, described as “a successful former professional golfer who once toured with Pryce.” It looks like it’s shaping up to be a fun series with a solid cast. Stay tuned for updates.
