Tim Burton’s World he has had a long and crazy successful career as a director and has made some amazing, wonderful, and funny films.
I’ve always been curious to see what he cooks for his films, but apparently, first Beetle Juice Beetle Juice he arrived, he was about to stop making films.
During an interview with /Film, Burton was asked if there were “other [his] films or creations” of which he perhaps wanted to make a sequel.
He said, “No. Actually, I guess I’d say the opposite, in a funny way. Because I’ve done it a little bit, and I feel like if I do something next, I mean, I don’t know what I’m going to do, but I want to do something where… I think I kind of stopped making movies after my last one. Because I just wasn’t feeling this whole studio thing.”
The last film Burton shot was Dumbo for Disney in 2019, and that must not have been the best experience for him.
After that he moved to TV and developed Wednesdayand talking about it he said: “I went away and did a TV thing, I just did it Wednesday in Romania, just to clean myself up, so to speak, or to recharge, or something like that.
“So I didn’t have any burning desire to do the sequel or anything. I just wanted to do this movie. So I think I’ve recalibrated how I’m going to approach things going forward.”
So, doing Beetle Juice Beetle Juice It’s reinvigorated him as a director, which is awesome! I’d hate to see Burton stop making movies, because I’ve always appreciated his storytelling and design style.
