Prime Video has ordered a new series that blends video games and animation for an adult animated show. According to Deadline, the streamer has teamed up with Tim Miller and his Blur Studio, the creative team behind the acclaimed Netflix series Love, Death and Robotsfor this new anthology, entitled Secret Level.
As Love, Death and Robotswhose episodes are based on short stories, this new anthology of video games, Secret Levelcreated and produced by Miller, is composed of original stories set in the worlds of the beloved video games.
Details are scarce but Amazon Games New World, Spelunky and it is rumored that among the games and IPs present in the series there are also titles for PlayStation, whose presentation is expected soon, probably during the Opening Night Live of Gamescom.
Secret Level is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio. Dave Wilson is the executive producer and supervising director.
On Prime Video, Secret Level joins a string of adult animated films that include titles such as Invincible, Hazbin Hotel AND Batman: The Animated Series.
