HBO has shared the first footage of The Last of Us Season 2 gives us a sneak peek at what the next chapter of the story has in store.
The teaser introduces several characters from the upcoming season, but focuses on Joel, who is questioned about his decision to save Ellie at the end of season one.
The series is set 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of an oppressive quarantine zone and bring her to the Fireflies, an organization seeking a cure.
What starts as a small job soon turns into a brutal and harrowing journey, as both must traverse the United States and depend on each other for survival.
The stars of the series Peter Pascal, Beautiful Ramsey, Gabriel MoonAND Routine WesleyNew cast members for season two include actress like Abby, Isabella Merced like Dina, Young Mazino like Jesse, Ariela Barer like Mel, Tati Gabrielle like Nora, Mr. Spencer like Owen, and Danny Ramirez like Manny.
Catherine O’Hara also guest star in an undisclosed role and Dr. Jeffrey Wright has joined the cast taking on the role of Isaac. You can see both of them in the video.
