Matthew McConaughey played one of the Deadpool variants in DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE

Here’s a fun and interesting little detail about a big cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine which you most likely haven’t noticed.

It has been confirmed by MotionPictures.org that Matthew McConaughey provides the voice of Cowboy Deadpool, or Deadpool Kid, the gunslinger variant of the Western from Earth-1108.

In the scene where all the Deadpool variations are introduced, so much happens that it would have been difficult for anyone to recognize McConaughey’s voice.

I love that he is the Deadpool Kid, and it would be awesome to see a Cowboy Deadpool movie made with McConaughey in the role!

Yes, I know it will never happen, but I see the potential in such a film.

This incarnation of Deadpool retains the original’s trademark irreverence and humor, but is uniquely adapted to the Old West setting.

Deadpool Kid was wanted for “bank robbery, arson, computer hacking and stampeding pygmy goats into an orphanage.”

Donning cowboy garb and armed with a mix of traditional Western weaponry and his iconic katanas, Deadpool Kid traverses the lawless frontier, engaging in outlandish adventures and bloody showdowns.

His plots often blend classic Western elements with the outlandish, fourth-wall-breaking action of Deadpool, creating a unique genre fusion.

What do you think about McConaughey playing Deadpool Kid?
