Deadpool and Wolverine It’s full of awesome cameos and Easter eggs of all kinds, and there are just so many to love!
One of the cameos, however, that made me die laughing was My First Encounter with Channing Tatumwho finally got to play Gambit after more than a decade of trying to make a Gambit movie. The way he played the character in Deadpool and Wolverine it was really hilarious!
Tatum has finally broken his silence on his involvement in the film, which was accompanied by a couple of photos of him with My name is Ryan Reynolds.which he praises in his comments.
Tatum said: “These photos are almost 10 years to the day. I was sitting in the audience when Ryan showed the world his first look at Deadpool 1 and I think I ran backstage afterward and found him and I think I hugged him and was like, holy shit, you did it, man. This is perfect.
“I didn’t know him at all then. But since then I can say that there’s almost no one who has supported me in this industry more than Ryan. I thought I had lost Gambit forever. But he fought for me and for Gambit. I will probably be in his debt forever. Because I’m not sure how I could ever do anything that would match what this has meant to me.
“I love you friend. by Shawn Levi also. Truly such a brilliant creator on every single level. Everything happens for a reason. I am so grateful to be in this movie. It is a masterpiece in my opinion. And just pure badass joy. I was literally screaming in the theater. LFG!!”
Tatum’s Gambit, aka Remy Labeau, holds one of the longest positions Deadpool and Wolverine cameo, and I really liked how they handled the character! It was so funny! That thick accent that Tatum was using was so damn funny.
