At Saturday’s Star Trek panel in Hall H, we were treated to a Star Trek: Lower Decks segment where we got to see the trailer for the fifth and final season of the animated series, as well as an October release date. The series’ stars were present at the panel New brown tawny, Jack Quaid, Christmas WellsAND Jerry O’Connell as well as Lower bridges executive producers Alex Kurtzman AND Mike McMahan.
The creators, stars and fans of the series have all expressed sadness when talking about the end of the series, and when a fan asked what could be done to get another season in the future, McMahan said that we should watch next season over and over again and be open about how much we love it.
The panel was delightful, the attendees were very funny and friendly and created a deep connection with the fans, thanks to a shared fandom.
