Tubi has released the trailer for its western thriller titled The Grovewhich has as protagonists Peter DinklageAlthough the film is an original Tubi production, it will be released in cinemas.
The film is an adaptation of the best-selling book of the same name by Joe R. LansdaleThis looks like it could be a good western worth watching.
In the film, “When fierce bounty hunter Reginald Jones (Dinklage) is recruited by a desperate man to hunt down a ruthless killer known as Cutthroat Bill (Julia Lewis), assembles a band of unlikely heroes, including a grave-digging ex-slave and a crafty female mercenary.
“Together they embark on a dangerous quest to track down Cutthroat Bill that will lead them into the deadly “no man’s land” known as… The Thicket.”
The film also stars Esme Creed Miles, Levon Hawke, Macon Blair, Andrea Schulz, The World of James Hetfield, David Half-Thunderwith Arliss Howard, Grace LeslieAND Gbenga Akinnagbe.
The Grove is directed by Elliott Lester(Love is the drug, Blitz, Nightingale, Sleepwalker, Aftermath). It will be released in select U.S. theaters on September 6, 2024.
