Four new images have been released for the upcoming slasher horror sequel, Terrifying 3It was also announced that a teaser trailer will be released on Wednesday at the San Diego Comic-Con kickoff.
The images offer a new look at Art the Clown along with Lauren LaVera like Sienna and Samantha Scaffidi like Victoria Heyes, who is possessed.
In the next chapter of the story, Art the Clown (Dr. David Howard Thornton) is set to unleash further mayhem on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.
Some new details were also shared, revealing that the next chapter in the story is set five years after the events of Terrifier 2.
It is also explained that Sienna and her brother Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) are still dealing with the trauma they suffered at the hands of Art The Clown.
Writer and director Damien Leone says Sienna has been “in and out of a mental health facility just to deal with all of this: not just what she’s been through, but who she’s becoming and what her role is in this universe.”
Leone also shares some of the holiday movies that inspired the Christmas-set horror sequel, saying, “I try to put Art the Clown in that situation, basically any classic Christmas movie cliche you could imagine, and see how he would handle it.”
It also reveals three Christmas movies that inspired the film, including Bad Santa Claus, Black Christmasand the Tales from the Crypt episode “And throughout the house”.
Terrifying 3 will hit theaters on October 11, 2024.
