The original ending of THE ACOLYTE saw the Sith villain and Osha kissing

The first season of the Star Wars series The Acolyte it’s come to an end and Manny JacintoThe Sith Lord, known as the Stranger, aka Qimir, has teamed up with Amandla StenbergOsha has gone over to the dark side.

The season finale saw Osha forcefully strangle Jedi Master Sol to death after discovering that he had killed her mother years before. There was so much anger and rage, and Osha simply let the dark side of the force take control of her.

Well, it looks like these two characters almost crossed the line of stupidity to kiss at the end of the series. A kissing scene was actually filmed, but ultimately the creative team didn’t think it was right and cut it.

During a recent interview with Vulture, Jacinto revealed, “I’ll just say it. There was a version that we filmed where Osha and the Stranger actually kiss. But we felt like maybe it wasn’t earned at the time. I think it was just too early.”

He explained: “The Stranger killed a bunch of her friends, and she just killed her father figure. [Sol]For them, experiencing this sensual moment did not seem appropriate.

“It’s just on the cutting room floor. But I suggested, ‘Maybe not the kiss, but how about a handshake?’ Some sort of comforting longing, some sort of physicality that expresses that he cares for her and has feelings for her and that they’re in this together now.

“It’s something that, if we were to do a second season, we could work on, if the fans wanted it.”

While many Star Wars fans have issues with the series, the kiss would only have added fuel to the fire. I’m sure you remember that there was a lot of backlash when Rey and Kylo Ren kissed at the end of The Rise of Skywalker. That was a mind-blowing moment because it made no sense to the characters or the story.

Regardless of the backlash from fans, Daisy Ridley previously said, “I felt like we all… it felt earned. What was interesting was the intentionality again. My feeling at the time was that it was a goodbye, and that felt earned.

“A kiss can be called a thousand things, but I felt it as a goodbye. That whole scene was emotional and I felt like I was saying goodbye to work too.”

Director The World of JJ Abrams She also spoke about the kiss, saying, “There’s as much of a brother-sister thing between Rey and Kylo Ren as there is a romantic thing. So it’s not literally a sexual, romantic thing, but it’s more like they’re tied together in this movie in a crazy, spiritual way that, again, felt romantic to me.”

Some fans still can’t believe it. Ever since Luke Skywalker kissed his sister, Star Wars fans have had a problem with kissing in Star Wars.
