Keen made her debut as X-23 in Logan when she was just 11 years old and was a badass! The actress is now 19 and in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she opened up about returning to the role after all these years.
Keen said: “I was a little scared. I thought, ‘I’ve forgotten how to play her. She’s not in me anymore.'” So, she rewatched Loganto prepare.
Speaking about filming her scenes in Deadpool & Wolverine, she said: “We went straight into this pretty intense scene. I know I was freaking out. As soon as they said, ‘Rolling!’, I really felt like we were back to making Logan. It was like eight years hadn’t passed.”
I was hoping to see Keen return as X-23 one day, and I still think she should have gotten her own solo movie! I have no idea if this cameo will lead to that, but it’s nice to see her character reunited with Logan.
Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th!
