This week’s retro trailer is for the 1982 martial arts action horror film Raw strengthThe cult classic B-movie was directed by Edward Murphyand follows a group of martial artists on an ill-fated adventure on a mysterious island known as Warrior’s Island.
The island is infamous for being the final resting place of fallen martial arts masters. Aboard a cruise ship, the martial artists find themselves in a bizarre and dangerous tale involving cannibalistic monks, zombie warriors, and a nefarious jade smuggling operation.
As the characters, including a determined cop and an enterprising ship captain, face these otherworldly threats, they must use their martial arts skills and their wits to survive.
It contains some over-the-top action sequences and a lot of slightly over-the-top dialogues which help make the film fun and enjoyable.
