This is a trailer for an upcoming indie supernatural horror thriller titled Delicate Archand it looks like a psychedelic movie that will tell a strange story.
In this film Grant, Wilda, Cody and Ferg are all college students in Salt Lake City. “Grant and Cody are supposed to be best friends, but Grant, a paranoid and spoiled film student, suspects that Cody is secretly dating Wilda, an ex-girlfriend with whom Grant is struggling to remain friendly.
“Wilda’s non-binary cousin Ferg is an amateur student of Theosophy and ritual magic. Fleeing a weather disaster known as “The Inversion” in Salt Lake Valley, they all decide to go camping in Arches National Park in southern Utah.
“As Grant’s obsessive voyeurism increases on the spot, he begins to sense a malevolent and imperceptible force invading them. What is it? An ancient Lovecraftian Evil? An extraterrestrial manipulation? A nuclear experiment gone wrong? Zombies?!?! Or perhaps… something even stranger?”
As someone who explores the backcountry of Utah a lot, there are so many other interesting places out there that are unfamiliar to many people. Arches National Park is just a major tourist attraction.
The film was written and directed by the emerging director Matt Warrenwho makes his feature film directorial debut. The film stars William Leo, My Friend Kelley Mack, Kevin BohleberAND Rene Leech.
The film will premiere at the Dances with Films Festival 2024 this month. No other release dates have been set yet.
