Prime Video has released a promotional spot for The boys The season four finale offers a preview of what’s to come for Homelander, Billy Butcher, Hughie, and the rest of the series’ characters.
The episode is titled “Assassination Run” and it looks like the stakes are high, as Billy appears to be knocking on death’s door, bidding an emotional farewell to Hughie over the phone and asking him to tell the rest of the boy that he’s sorry for how things turned out.
Then there’s Neuman, who’s about to be sworn in as President of the United States. It’s going to be really interesting to see how this series finale plays out.
In Season 4, “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscular thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.”
“Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as leader of The Boys. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
Eric Kripke previously teased that this season, “could be the craziest thing we’ve ever done? I just can’t believe we pulled this off.” It certainly hasn’t disappointed so far.
The series will come to an end with the fifth season and I’m curious to see how the last episode of the series will lead to its conclusion.
