There is a scene from Alien: Romulus in the latest trailer released that previewed one of the movie’s chest-smashing scenes. I’ve seen this scene in full. It hasn’t been released publicly, but I can tell you that it’s the most horrifying chest-smashing scene I’ve ever seen in a Alien movie.
The chest blasting scene is hardcore and will leave the audience speechless with how brutal it is. Director Faith Alvarez recently talked about this scene from the film, teasing the audience with the content and revealing that it was inspired by nature documentaries.
The director said that shooting the scene required nine puppeteers to pull it off effectively and said: “It’s almost like a nature documentary. We were joking around watching it on set, [like] ‘The creature comes out slowly. It is looking for the mother’s scent…’
“The creature isn’t trying to be scary. It’s trying to break out of this cocoon, which happens to be a person. It’s almost like it’s more realistic in a way, but without betraying all the great things about the original designs.”
Just wait until you see this scene in person! Horror fans will be blown away. Maybe they’ll show the full scene at Comic-Con! Alien: Romulus it becomes a full-blown horror movie and it looks like it’s going to be awesome!
Alien: Romulus follows a “group of young people on a distant world who find themselves confronted by the most terrifying life form in the universe.”
The movie stars Cailee Spaeny, Isabella Mercedwhich is also joined Archie Renaux (Shadow and bone), Spike Fear (After sun), and the new arrival Aileen Wu.
Alvarez directs the film from a script he wrote himself. Rodo Sayagues. Ridley Scott he is also a producer of the film together with Michael Pruss (Boston Strangler) for Scott Free, with Brent O’Connor (High speed train), Elizabeth Cantillon (Persuasion) AND Tom Moran (The King of Donuts) as executive producers.
Alien: Romulus will be released in theaters on August 16th.
