Marvel Studios recently held a Deadpool and Wolverine fan event in London, where they screened 35 minutes of the film for fans. Fan reactions have hit social media, and as you can see, they love it!
My name is Ryan Reynolds. He also spoke to Variety about the film’s R-rating and shared his thoughts on whether the minimum age to watch the film is too young.
The actor said: “So many kids have seen ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Deadpool 2.’ My kids have seen them. And they’re damaged.”
“But it’s never rated R just to be rated R. A lot of it just depends on the character. The character is very vulgar. His brain is like a half-eaten omelette inside the skull of a 7-year-old. Don’t bring a 114-year-old, because that person is not going to leave alive. Anyone in a diaper.”
You can read some of the reactions below to the footage that was shown. It looks like the film will not disappoint!
I WATCHED THE FIRST 35 MINUTES OF DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE! (No Spoilers)
I’m not kidding, I’m having a hard time finding any negatives. Despite the merger with Fox, it feels like a direct continuation of the story and tone of Deadpool 2. Nothing has been toned down, all the comedy is there and the… photo.twitter.com/hdP58yh7sR

I saw the video from #DeadpoolAndWolverine and you are not ready for this. Forget what you think you know, forget everything you think is going to happen because Reynolds and company have stealthily but brilliantly built their marketing and their movie. I can’t wait to see it in all its glory! photo.twitter.com/Db49Go4q2v

They showed us the first 37 minutes of #DeadpoolAndWolverine and it’s the bomb!
They understood the task and they are doing it more than well: they were laughing from the opening gag. It’s stupid. It’s funny. I can’t wait to see the rest: let’s go, damn it 🤘 photo.twitter.com/YOortt73oh

Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman waste no time and have fun #DeadpoolAndWolverine – A film I’ve now seen nearly half of, and while its final hour or so remains uneven, it might be Marvel’s best since Avengers: Endgame, and certainly the most genuinely entertaining.

The first 35 minutes of #DeadpoolAndWolverine are very funny.
So far, this is everything I was hoping for from this team-up, while still maintaining the essence of a Deadpool movie. Ryan Reynolds could really be Marvel’s Jesus… Can’t wait to see the rest! photo.twitter.com/oLbjrPA7tW

I’m never one to say “you’re not ready”, but you really are not. The levels of excitement for #DeadpoolAndWolverine they just went through the roof. The first 30 minutes are Wade and Wolverine unleashing the best possible light. Give me the whole movie. photo.twitter.com/8HoyfKLOW3

I am happy to say that if #DeadpoolAndWolverine manages to maintain the energy of its first 35 minutes, then we are certainly not watching a Dud-pool. I guess you could call it Deadpool & Wow-verine… it was Dead-cool… that’s all

The film is set six years after the events of PersonagesWade has hung up his uniform, is no longer dating Vanessa, and seems content with his job as a used car salesman.
While celebrating his birthday with friends, agents of the Time Variance Authority tear Wade from his reality and take him to meet their boss, Mr. Paradox, who informs Deadpool that a greater destiny awaits him.
This is the beginning of a grand adventure in the multiverse with Wolverine!
The confirmed cast for the film also includes Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin like Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen as a TVA agent, and Leslie Uggams like Blind Al.
They join them Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsunawho will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. It was previously confirmed that Jennifer Garner will return in the film as Electra.
Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th!
