Here’s a new trailer for the crazy upcoming body horror film The substancewhich has as protagonists Demi Moore, Margaret QualleyAND Dennis Quaid.
The story of the film revolves around a new product called The Substance that promises to transform people into the best versions of themselves of their dreams. As you might imagine, there’s a sinister twist.
Judging by this new teaser trailer, this movie is going to be crazy, and I can’t wait to see it! I’m always up for a movie that does crazy things.
The film is accompanied by the following note: “Have you ever dreamed of a better version of yourself? You should try this new product: The Substance. It changed my life.
“With The Substance, you can create another version of yourself, younger, more beautiful, more perfect… Just share the time. One week for one, one week for the other. A perfect balance of seven days. Easy, isn’t it? If you respect the balance… what could possibly go wrong?”
The film was a great success at the Cannes Film Festival and was celebrated with a 13-minute standing ovation after its screening.
The film was written and directed by Coralie Fargeatwho previously helmed the 2017 action thriller Vendetta.
The film will be released in theaters later this year.
