Disney is developing a sequel to the 2006 hit fashion film, The devil wears Pradastarring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway AND Emily Bluntwith screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna in talks to return to write the next chapter.
The film stars Hathaway as an unlikely assistant to the intimidating editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, played by Streep.
The film had comedy and drama, romance and, of course, fashion. It saw Hathaway’s character, Andy, evolve into the kind of person who could make it in the high-powered world of fashion, but wasn’t sure she wanted to.
This movie is a fan favorite, so audiences are ready for it. The sequel is still in early development and no casting news has been confirmed, but stay tuned and we’ll share more details as we go.
