Skybound, Image Comics and Hasbro are promoting their upcoming GI Joe comic book series with the “Choose a side” initiative.
The initiative will offer fans the chance to see their names in the all-new GI Joe #1 series, publicly declaring their loyalty to GI Joe or Cobra.
Some participants will even be featured alongside other Insiders in the series’ advertisements. You can declare your affiliation by submitting a photo of yourself, along with your declared allegiance, to the “Choose Your Side” page on the Skybound Insiders website here.
Arune Singh, vice president of publishing at Skybound Entertainment, said in a statement: “Choose Your Side is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of GI JOE history and our way of saying thank you to all the amazing fans who have made the Energon Universe the industry’s most popular comic book line.
“So many fans, including all of us at Skybound, have dreamed of seeing our names in our favorite comics, and it’s exciting to take that a step further by giving Skybound Insiders the chance to see their faces side by side with our fellow members in the biggest comic book launch of the year!”

According to Skybound, each eligible submission will be included once in a number of GI Joestarting with the series’ launch in November.
Ads will run until all eligible entries have been submitted. The Skybound Insiders photo submission portal is open now and will close on September 8, 2024.
To participate, users must have a verified Skybound Insiders account, be over 18 years old, and be a legal resident of the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada (excluding Quebec).
