Some new photos from the set of James Gunn’S Superman have emerged and offer us our first glimpse of Nathan’s sonIsabela Merced’s Green Lantern and Hawkgirl in costume.
The photos also feature David CorenswetSuperman and Edi Gathegi’s Mr. Terrific. We don’t have context for the scene that will be shot, but it’s interesting to see how all these superheroes will look in the movie. The costumes are not what I expected.
I also included a video showing Superman waving to a group of children as the other heroes leave.
Superman will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way of life, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as antiquated.”
Superman even the stars Rachel Brosnahan like Lois Lane; Nicholas Hoult like Lex Luthor; Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt / Mr. Terrific; Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen; Maria Gabriella of Faria like Angela Spica, known as The Engineer; Sarah Sampaiolike Eve Teschmacher; and Terence Rosemore like Otis.
Superman will launch the theatrical portion of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1. It is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025.
