Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt has recently expressed interest in collaborating again with James Gunn in the DCU and says there’s always a chance.
Pratt recently visited Gunn’s set Supermanthe film that will kick off the Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters phase of films and TV shows.
TMZ caught up with Pratt after a photo of his set visit was shared online and asked if he was any closer to joining the DCU.
Pratt replied, “Well, there’s always a chance. But obviously I couldn’t screw it up here on the sidewalk with you. I could, but it’s better not to.”
He added: “Man, I just have to let the fans and people like James decide. I’m not exactly sure. I’m not really sure.”
There are so many different characters in the DC Universe that Pratt could play, and it would be interesting to see if the actor stars in both Marvel and DC projects at the same time, because he will be returning to play Star-Lord again.
When asked again if he would like to work with DC Studios, Pratt added, “Yeah, sure, if I can fit it into my schedule and if it makes sense. Obviously, I love playing Star-Lord, so I hope there’s a chance I can come back. I feel so lucky to do any of these things and to be considered for any of these things.”
Finally, he was asked if he would be open to working with his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, suggesting that they could collaborate on a future Terminator project.
“Oh, man, that would be awesome, wouldn’t it? You think people would lose their minds? Wow, awesome! Okay! I’m in, sign me up!”
Are there any characters from the DC Universe you would like to see Pratt play in the DCU?
