Crunchyroll has acquired Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castleand will be released in theaters as a film trilogy.
The anime films will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment worldwide, excluding some Asian territories and Japan. A release date has not yet been set.
This trilogy represents the final story arc and culmination of the popular Demon Slayer series.
Rahul Purini, president of Crunchyroll, said in a statement: “Demon slayer It’s been a phenomenal franchise and we at Crunchyroll are grateful to have been a part of it from the very beginning.”
“Crunchyroll is thrilled to be able to bring this film trilogy to fans on the big screen, and it promises to be one of the most epic and significant pop culture events of our time when it hits theaters.”
Demon Hunter: Kimetsu no Yaiba It is based on the manga series created by Gotoge KoyoharuThe story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps and whose mission is to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon.
This has been a fantastic story to follow and I can’t wait to find out how it ends.
