GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE Coming to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Night

Universal Studios has announced it Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire are coming to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. They also shared a promotional poster and video to get fans excited about what they have planned.

The announcement reads: “If something is strange. If something is strange… An ancient artifact unleashes an evil force that threatens to destroy the world in all-new haunted houses inspired by Sony Pictures’ latest film, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” debuting at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 30 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 5.

The Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire haunted houses at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort “bring to life the latest chapter in the global Ghostbusters series, as well as ghosts, creatures and iconic characters from the beloved classic series in authentic haunted houses that capture the horror and the humor the films are known for.”

Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire “will transport fans of the film series to New York City, where the Spengler family teams up with the original Ghostbusters, who are now at the helm of a top-secret research laboratory for their ghost-busting enterprise.”

“With the terrifying discovery of an ancient relic that has unleashed the vengeful spirit of Garraka, who threatens to freeze everyone to death, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their city and save the world from a second ice age.”

As guests venture through the haunted houses, they will find themselves immersed in the sinister world of the supernatural, from Ray’s occult bookshop to the Ghostbusters’ new high-tech lab and containment facility to New York City’s dank sewer system.

“Fans will embark on this petrifying journey alongside the Ghostbusters, encountering iconic slime ghosts and evil villains seeking vengeance, all while trying to escape an army of horrific creatures intent on breaking bones and turning their veins into rivers of ice.

“As they make their way through freezing, frightening conditions, the Ghostbusters will need their wits and humor to defend the city they love from a terror too chilling to believe.”
