Alan Tudyk recently appeared at the Boston Fan Expo and during a panel was asked about the upcoming DC animated series Commando CreaturesHe explained that it is a “very beautiful” and “touching” series.
Tudyk said: “It’s really cool. It’s a bunch of bad guys and it’s like, ‘Well, how the hell do all these people fit together?’ When he [James Gunn] he asked me to do it. That’s all I saw.
“We have something like that, Frankenstein is there and there’s a lady with… she has a fish face, and she has this kind of fishbowl on her head. It was like, ‘How do they all…’ And then, like a robot, and the [art] it looks a little different on everyone, everyone has their own kind of style.
“I don’t know how all of this is going to fit together. When I read it, it was the best thing I’ve read in a long time, and it was moving. And that’s what James Gunn does so well. I can’t wait for people to see it. I’ve seen a little bit now and it looks really great.”
The series was written by James Gunnwho thinks the series is one of the best things he’s ever written.
Gunn previously shared, “The new series picks up directly after the Season 1 finale of Peacemaker, which leaves Waller with her hands tied operationally, meaning she is no longer able to get away with endangering lives to bring about ends his clandestine, morally questionable mission. missions.

The voice cast includes David Port like Eric Frankenstein, Sean Gunn like Weasel and GI Robot, Franco Grillo like Rick Flag Sr., Maria Bakalova in the role of Princess Ilana Rostovic, Indira Varma in the role of the Bride, Zoe Chao as Nina Mazursky, Alan Tudyk as Doctor Phosphorus, with Steve Ague reprising his role as John Economos from Peacemaker.
Commando Creatures will debut on Max in December 2024.
