MGM Studios has released the first trailer for the upcoming holiday action film Red Onewhat stars Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucia LiuAND JK Simmons.
In the film, “After Santa Claus (Simmons) – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole’s security chief (Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in an action around the world, a busy mission to save Christmas.”
The film was directed by Jake Kasdan, the director of the recent Jumanji films, from a screenplay written by Chris Morgan (Hobbs and Shaw), and it looks like a ridiculous movie that will be fun to watch. As you’ll see, there’s a lot going on.
The film is described as a “fire-breathing Christmas action film that completely reinvents the Christmas genre.”
The film is also the protagonist Kiernan Shipka, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Nick Krollwith Kristofer Hivju like Krampus, and Bonnie Hunt like Mrs. Claus.
Amazon MGM Studios will release Red One in theaters November 15, 2024.
