The director’s first teaser trailer has been released online Roberto Eggers’ remake of the 1920s horror classic Nosferatu, and this will be an atmospheric and chilling film. I love the disturbing images that this trailer teases!
In this new revisitation, Nosferatu tells the disturbing gothic story of a tormented young woman’s obsession (Lily-Rose Depp) in 19th-century Germany and the ancient vampire of Transylvania (Bill Skarsgard) who haunts her, bringing with him unspeakable horrors.
I’m excited about this movie and it looks like Eggers has made a disturbing film that will take audiences on a dark vampire journey.
Speaking about the film, Eggers said: “It’s a scary movie. It’s a horror movie. It’s a gothic horror film. And I think there hasn’t been an old school gothic movie that’s actually scary in a while. And I think most audiences will find that to be the case.
Nicholas Hoult he also stars in the film alongside Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Emma Corrin (Deadpool 3), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter), Simon McBurney (The evocation 2) AND Ralph Ineson (The Witch).
The film will be released in theaters on December 25, 2024.
