Marvel fans are really curious about the upcoming film The fantastic Fourand we all hope it turns out to be a really great movie!
We’ve all been waiting to see what Marvel would do with the Fantastic Four franchise if they got their hands on it, and we’ll find out in the near future.
While we continue to wait, Galactus actor Ralph Ineson spoke about his excitement for the film and teased the script during an interview with The Movie Dweeb.
Ineson said: “I’m just thrilled to be part of this huge and absolutely crazy world. It’s Galactus. I can’t say much, but he is Galactus. There is a lot to be excited about.”
The actor spoke about the Fantastic Four script, the most recent draft of which was written by Josh Friedman.
The actor said: “It’s amazing, and I’m not someone who knows all the Marvel lore, but my son is an expert. He’s 25 years old, so he’s been teaching me for the last couple of months, always this, or this, no, this person is not related to this, so he’s been teaching me all this.
“And yeah, I mean, I loved it when I got the part, and I read the script, and I was like, this is cool as hell, and now I understand more about the universe and how it all fits together. I’m like yeah, it’s really cool as hell.
I like the sound of it! Let’s hope the film lives up to expectations!
Ineson is joined in the film by Pedro Pasquale (The last of us) as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible: Showdown) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger things) as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; AND Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.
Paul Walter Houser he was also recently cast in the project in an unknown role, along with Natasha Lyonne, AND Giulia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) will take on the role of Shalla-Bal, who is an incarnation of the Silver Surfer.
The film is set in the 1960s and the script comes from there Josh Friedmanwho was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan AND Ian Springer.
Filming of the film will begin in mid-summer in England. The fantastic Four will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
